PostSubject: Remembrance book to honour Goody   Thu Mar 26, 2009 3:29 am

A book of remembrance for Jade Goody will be open to the public ahead of her funeral on April 4.

Visitors
to St John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex will be able to
leave a message in the book and will have an opportunity for quiet
reflection and prayer and the lighting of a candle, a spokesman for
Chelmsford Diocese said.

They will also be able to leave floral tributes inside the church for transfer later to a place set aside in the churchyard.

The
27-year-old reality TV star died in the early hours of Mother's Day,
with her mother Jackiey Budden and husband Jack Tweed at her side at
her home in Upshire, Essex.

She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August last year.

The
Rev Corinne Brixton, associate minister at the church, who baptised
Goody and her young sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, at the Royal
Marsden Hospital earlier this month, will take the funeral service.

The
church will be open to the public between 9am and 6pm every day before
and after the funeral for messages to be written in the book of
remembrance.

The book will be presented to Goody's family.
